Become a Representative
Any person can become a representative, it is enough just to pay attention to your own physical sensations, emotions, thoughts. Representatives make rich relationship experiences.
As a representative you can:
-
see different solutions to difficulties from a new angle, distancing themselves from the problem
-
work through your own topics through physical and mental understanding of the other person's world
-
go deep into the world of another person: physically feel the problem, face the emotions and experiences of another
-
see great impulses in behavior
-
since representatives are often chosen “not by chance”, this sets the first impulses for solving their difficulties and understanding where the solution might lie
What representatives say about constellations
I get the information from who I represent. Most of the time I don't know the person. The therapist puts me in position and in a spatial relationship to other representatives. I have feelings. For example, I feel too close, comfortable, threatened, supported, powerful, small, full of love... The feeling is just there and I can express it when asked. With guidance of the therapist, new perspectives on the problem that showed up initially can set in motion a process of resolution.

For me it is fascinating to be a representative and to experience feelings, ways of thinking and relationship patterns in the flesh through "foreign" stories. I've already learned a lot about life.

I find it tremendously exciting how the patterns can be experienced through the positions of the representatives in the overall structure of the family. The individual representatives practically become the family members involved for the period of the constellation. Their feelings, thoughts and backgrounds are present and effective ... without you having to know anything about them beforehand!
